Gateshead Arts Association is an organisation that represents the interests of Amateur Arts groups in the Gateshead Council area. These groups cover the range of disciplines in the Performing, Literary and Visual arts. Often the Association hosts events which involve many of these groups in the same programme, which allows those groups who normally work on their own to meet with groups of another discipline, often to mutual benefit.
